The BSL Alliance (“We”, “Us”, “Our”), in association with the British Deaf Association, is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Information you provide by filling in forms on our site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to join the BSL Alliance, requesting further services, or contacting us through our “Contact Us” form. This data is collected and stored by the British Deaf Association on behalf of the BSL Alliance.

The British Deaf Association uses the information you provide to process your application to join the BSL Alliance, to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, to respond to inquiries submitted through our “Contact Us” form, and to notify you about changes to our services.
The information you provide will be stored in the British Deaf Association’s CRM database and may be used to contact your organisation about the BSL Alliance work or respond to your inquiries.

Your personal information will be shared with other member organisations of the BSL Alliance for the sole purpose of achieving our mission. The British Deaf Association will not disclose your personal information to any other third parties without your explicit consent unless legally required to do so.

You have the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You also have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate information about you and to request the deletion of your data where there is no good reason for the British Deaf Association continuing to process it.
